*Update: as per suggestions, I changed the video card to a "MSI GeForce GTX 1660 6GB Gaming X Video Card"

You dont need a g-sync monitor at all. I dont use a g-sync monitor with an nvidia gpu.
Sometimes with a non g-sync monitor you have screen tearing of sorts when moving really fast. G-sync helps to fix this.

It can be quite important if you want to avoid screen tearing.

Without a G-SYNC monitor, you will need to enable vertical sync in your games in order to avoid screen tearing. That significantly lowers your average FPS.

G-SYNC does not lower your average FPS.

Personally, I love having a FreeSync monitor (i.e., AMD’s version of G-SYNC).

Yes that is a good one. Plus, it's freesync which means it's compatible with your G-sync GPU.

This is the updated list of the components I'm going to buy. I would like some suggestions or help deciding the case.

I will be on the lookout for the 3000 series CPUs, but I'd probably go with the 2600x, cause this is already pushing my budget.
