I very new to Pc building, this will be my first. Would just like some expert advice on if all these components will work together fine.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 760G

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz - Socket AM3+

GPU: Sapphire HD 7850 OC Edition 2GB

Memory: Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz

PSU: Corsair 500W CX Builder 80

Casing: CiT Vantage Gaming Case Black HD

Thanks in advance :)

Hi , and welcome , The Cpu and motherboard are compatible according to the charts on the gigabyte forum Found here http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?v=AE72F6F9D4ADD0D7995989AF720CB4D0FF2976CBFB7DB4DE70BB3E832BEDD48D&s=Socket%20AM3+&cs=AMD%20760G

You will need to make sure that you are using bios "F3" to ensure it , and sometimes the bios in a newly purchased motherboard will not have been updated ( follow instructions in your manual to update it)

Are sure that motherboard is the right choice for you ? It's integrated GPU , is known for being pretty damn old and slow , not a deal breaker as you have a discrete card choice
but is also does not have UEFI ( which i consider a must these days its a small , cheap n cheerful type mobo , so if budget constrains you i can understand why you may have picked it but i like to buy my motherboards to last and the higher end boards have a lot less issues , give you more features , expandability and longevity for upgrades.

My pick would be http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-M5A78L-M-USB3-Motherboard-Socket/dp/B0054U7HIO/ref=pd_sim_computers_7
which i dont know if the vendors made a mistake but that is reduced to a tenner >.< and blows that gigabyte board away.

May I ask why did You decide to buy a PC on AMD? I know that the price/performance level is better than on Intel but maybe with Your budget You can do something better on Intel.

Is it a gaming PC?

Yes it's mainly for gaming and CAD rendering, and im not sure between this cpu or intel 3570k both seem about the same for what im doing
