Are these dead or stuck pixels?

So recently I was writing something to notepad and I stumbled across some strange pixels on screen.
These pixels are shown even when the laptop is off and I need advice whether I can fix them or just buy a new screen.

(Note that laptop hasn't got any warranty)

Dead pixels are tough to fix. You might try JScreenFix or one of the other pixel fixers. If those don't work, you can take a soft cloth and GENTLY rub around the dead pixels to see if that helps. My guess is it won't work and you will need to warranty or replace the screen.
