If you can find the Gigabyte 970A-US3P then you don;t have to worry about upgrading the motherboard as much since it can handle FX 8350 quite well.
Consider a better power supply than Corsair CS 550 or RM 550. Seasonic or XFX are good psu. 550W is enough.
