Are these good temps for AMD FX-6300 at this oc?

Hi all,
I have recently decided to dabble in OCing,
I currently have my CPU running at 3.9 ghz on the stock cooler @ 1.225v. I ran Prime95 for a while in conjunction with HWMonitor and my temps maxed out at 67.5 C. However, running AMD OverDrive at the same time, it comes within an alarming 3 C (!) of the thermal margin. Are these good temperatures for this overclock? Also, would changing the voltage decrease impact of a bottleneck with a GTX 1060? If so, what voltage should it be set to?

67.5C is perfect for the stock cooler and i think HWmonitor is one of the few programs that can monitor FX temps correctly

But you can't call a 3.9 GHz a serious overclock, that's barely a little bit above the turbo speed, which is 3.8 GHz

And regarding the second question no it won't bottleneck the 1060 much more than it already does, that CPU is no ideal for the 1060 at those speeds

I have a 6350 that I ran at 4.3 for over three years, always stable. I was using a Sabertooth r1 motherboard and using ASUS utility on 'auto' for the OC. I have seen a number of users post rates over 4.5 with their 63xx CPUs. I used a Zalman 92mm air cooler and my temps, at full load in my 760T case were 58-62C. Idle in mid-20s. You can certainly get more out of that CPU but that depends on your motherboard and cooler.

If you can afford it almost any 120mm air cooler will let you OC much higher than that. And yeah, the GTX 1060 will be quite bottlenecked. If you have no intention of upgrading your PC or replacing it anytime soon a GTX 1050 Ti (the cheapest one you can find) would be a better match.
