Hello I overclocked my 3770k on z77 sabertooth h100 to 4.4 ghz and voltage is 1.25 my hottest core is 87c is that normal and if i were to go to 4.6 what is a good voltage thank you

Hi,

87C is too hot, you really want your load temps to be <75C.

With a H100 I would expect better temps, I would increase the fan speed of the fans on the radiator first to see if that makes much of a difference, if not then reapply the TIM and remount the cooler.

87c is 13c away from boiling water!

Think of it that way!

Is that OK?

If you shoot for 4.8 you could probably make some tea while you're using your computer!

If those present overclocks bring that much heat, and you intend on going even further, you need a better cooling solution.
