Are these ok together?

I've never been very good with picking motherboard so I'd like some help here, to know if this mobo is fine?


These are what I'm looking to buy:
Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 Dual-Core Processor 119e
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 Desktop Motherboard 48e
RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 40e

These I already have:
Graphics Card: Twin Frozr III GeForce GTX 660
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast Series CMPSU-750TXV2 750 W Power Supply

It's the latest, designed for Ivy Bridge.

What's the diference on that one B75 compared to H77 or asrock Z77?

If I had a better budget I woulda gone for asrock Z77 extreme4 and i5 2500k but yeah....

Ok since i3 3220 can't be overclocked, would ASUS - P8B75-M LX be good?

I don't really mind if i can't overclock ram/cpu but can it still overclock gpu?

Right now my cpu is Core 2 Duo E7400 and my ram is 3x 1gb 800mhz sticks...

Also I've found some nice ram that is not 1.65v and is 1600mhz 1.35v

There's not much difference between B75 and H77, except that H77 has a few more features... that said, it doesn't look like you have an SSD, which is the main feature difference (H77 has Smart Response Tech which lets the SSD function as a hard drive cache, IIRC). So really either is fine.

It looks like the low-voltage RAM you've selected might not be supported by the MB... at least, I don't see the model number on the supported vendor list on the site you posted. Regular 1.5v is a much safer bet.

Thanks for that one I tho I saw it being supported guess I was wrong, that ram you just linked doesn't seem to show up on support list for that mobo either...

Ok let me just make it easier.

My budget atm for ram/cpu/mobo is 240-250 euros max wich is around 317-331 us dollars.

I want CPU: i3 3220 unless there is a better option?

You're right, I don't see it either. Likely both brands are supported, but maybe not.

1.5v RAM is safest. Technically speaking, Intel says for IB use RAM that is +/- 5% of 1.5v is spec, so 1.65v RAM is technically out of spec, which means it can damage your processor's memory control and void your warranty. On the other hand, their spec sheets show a lot of 1.65v RAM modules as supported, so it's not clear cut. For myself, I would prefer to play it safe and use 1.5v RAM at 1600 mhz. Corsair Vengeance low-profile is great RAM if you don't like the brands listed so far.

Because the store has them on sale, shows B75 chipset, 2nd/3rd gen core and 1.5v so it looks these will work fine, I've learned how to choose stuff now tho
