I have the following PC kicking around & I'm wondering if it's worth putting up for sale to part out maybe.
Here are the specs:
Coolermaster CM 690 II ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Cooling Air Series A70 Dual Fan CPU Cooler
G.SKILL Ripjaws 2x4GB RAM
Kingston HyperX Blue 2x4GB RAM
i5 2500K processor
GTX 960 GPU
ASUS P8P67 Pro mobo
Corsair Builder Series PSU

Add some storage & it's up and running basically.

What do you think? worth anything?

Thanks as always folks.

Hey man, appreciate the quick response.
I'll be honest with you, I'm not really sure what the use/point of a media/file server is. I'm on this main PC on the home network. There is an older laptop on as well. We have a new Samsung smart tv also on the network.
If I have movies/files on this primary PC. What does a media/file server do for me?
I have a little HTPC, to do pretty much that.

Play media out to the TV and stereo.
Movies, music.
It is also a central storage location, for things that might be accessed from multiple devices.

Food recopies, shared docs, address book, etc, etc, etc.

But thats just me.
If you don't know what you might do with it....then no big deal.

Thought...
Install Linux on it, and gift it to...
