Are these parts all compatible?

Hi, this is my first time building a computer, and I am ordering all of my parts through newegg.com.

I'm sure you guys probably see this all the time and probably get annoyed by it, but I'm looking for help and advice from experienced people who know what they're talking about.

If you guys could just help me out, and tell me if any of these parts might conflict with each other, or not work properly together, I would really appreciate it.

That motherboard won't work with that CPU. You need an H77 motherboard. Also Thermaltake does not make the best PSUs. Go with something from Antec, Seasonic, or Corsair.

Also, do I need an optical drive to install an OS, or is there any other way I could possibly install a OS through? I am able to download Windows 7 64 bit through an educational website that I have a membership to, and I would like to be able to do it through that, any thoughts?

Alright, but how can I use the download from that site to install Windows 7 on this computer once it is built?

It is a legal download, and what if I downloaded the OS on my laptop and saved it to a flashdrive, would that work, or no?
