Hello,

Approximate Purchase Date: (Within the next week or so)

Budget Range: <$600

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet, school (microsoft word, powerpoint)

Parts Not Required: mouse, monitor, speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: USA

Parts Preferences: would like it to be micro ATX (portability)

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: Probably 1280x1024

Planning to assemble my first pc. Hoping to play mainly starcraft 2 on reasonably high settings. Will also be used for school but nothing too demanding. Want to stay under $600 (this includes buying windows 7 though). Heres a link to the build I have come up with.

Are all parts compatible?

Little worried about the larger GPU on a mATX mobo. Is there any chance it could get in the way of the PCI slot im planning to use for a wifi adapter?

Thanks

it seems like everything in your build will work. From what I've read (I haven't played SC2) its more CPU heavy than GPU heavy. If that is indeed the case then the X3 is going to struggle a little bit. Also if you are in college you can get windows discounted for around $30 from Microsoft.
if you can get windows 7 for $29.99, something like:

or

would work out a little better. I think the last one might put you just over your budget, but would be close.
