So my friend asked me to choose the components for his brand new pc with $1400 as a budget. Can anybody check if the components are compatible? My friend wanted an RTX 2060 so I went with an 8th gen CPU. Will it still be ok?
The parts are,
I5 8400
MSI H310M Gaming plus
Thermaltake Versa h18
Team T Force dark 3200 MHz 16gb
Thermaltake 650w

The link just goes to the store page, no parts listed...

Edit: Also can you mention what type of things your friend wants to do with the machine? Any specific games, other tasks?

Currently the AMD Ryzen 2000 series cpu's are generally better value than Intel unless you are looking super high end so I'd suggest basing the machine around something like the R5 2600X for that budget, although it does depend on what your friend is after...
