Are these parts compatible?

This is my first build on this budget gaming computer ($500, OS not included) and I want to know if its compatible and if it can run Battlefield 3 at medium settings.

CPU- AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard- Biostar TA870+ ATX AM3 Motherboard
RAM- G.Skill 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
HDD- Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU- XFX Radeon HD 6850 1GB Video Card
PSU- Corsair 600W ATX12V Power Supply
Case- Thermaltake VM30001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case
Optical Drive- Samsung SH-222AL DVD/CD Writer
OS- Windows 7 SP1 32-bit

Also, should I change my case to Cooler Master HAF 912?
You need Win 7 64 bit or your system wont be able to use all the RAM you are buying .

The case should be fine .

Soon AMD will release new processors called Bulldozer that will use AM3+ motherboards .It will be cheaper in the long run to buy an AM3+ motherboard with a 970 series chipset if you can afford the extra $30

Without knowing the resolution of your monitor no one can tell you if it will run BF3 .
Some suggestions,...

CPU + Mobo
i3 2100 + ASUS H67
- It plays games better than the 955/ 965

RAM - ADATA 8GB DDR3 - Go with this only if you can get a Win 7 64-bit OS
It comes to around $43 including shipping vs $36 including shipping for the GSKillz 4 GB RAM,... Again I say that go with this only if you get a 64-bit OS and not 32-bit OS,...

PSU - Antec ECO 520W

HDD - Same

Free Shipping

Antec 300 for $39 @ ncix

GPU - Same

Total - ~$550
