Hey guys, so building my first system ever, and found what i believe to be a great deal on some components on newegg. My max budget is $1,000 but the lower the cost the better. so far this is what I have picked out. I have a 1440p 144 refresh rate monitor so i will be doing 2k gaming which i know the CPU and GPU are capable of.

Ryzen 3600x (will be using stock cooler at first)
Asrock B450Pro ATX Motherboard (this is one piece if i'm not sure to upgrade)
EVGA Supernova 650G5 80plus gold 650w (i know this is more than enough but i want room for future upgrades)
Asrock 5700 xt challenger graphics card

then this is the case I have selected https://www.newegg.com/black-fracta...-tower/p/N82E16811352069?Item=N82E16811352069

this is another case i am looking at https://www.newegg.com/white-fractal-design-focus-g-series-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811352067

total cost of everything after tax and shipping is $935. this is close to my limit but if you guys think i should splurge a bit more on mobo for longetivity sake let me know, or if i should upgrade the case.

I will be providing my own 1TB M.2 SSD from my current laptop (Also able to install windows on my own) as well as my own set of 16GB DDR4 3200mh ram i have. will upgrade with more ssd storage probably on black friday.

since some of these items are on sale i want to jump on this as fast as possible, so please let me know what y'all think. below are links for the components if you want to check yourself

CPU https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-5-3600x/p/N82E16819113568?Item=N82E16819113568
MOBO https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b450-pro4/p/N82E16813157841?Item=N82E16813157841
GPU https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeo...-8g-oc/p/N82E16814930020?Item=N82E16814930020
PSU https://www.newegg.com/evga-superno...1-650w/p/N82E16817438163?Item=N82E16817438163

cheers for all your help!

Edit: in case you are wondering. my current laptop also has an HDD on it and I know how to clear and wipe the M.2 and create empty new partition for a fresh install of windows, so i'm not worried about that

The motherboard may require a BIOS update in order to use the third generation Ryzen processor. I'm not seeing a BIOS Flashback capability, so you'd need a natively supported processor in order to update the BIOS. Other than that, I don't have any issues with the build

Perhaps consider an MSI B450 MAX series motherboard, or an X570 chipset motherboard.

Do not buy this motherboard. Look at the picture below.

https://i.redd.it/7n48gewun0p21.png

That board is at the bottom of the VRM's tier list. It's in the Garbo tier. If you want to buy a B450 MAX buy any that are in the Mid-range tier at least. Like the Tomahawk MAX, Mortar MAX.
those motherboards are either out of stock or way above my budget range, is the one I have selected really that bad? I'm not looking to do any overclocking.

Yes it really is that bad. Even if you went with the tomahawk max, you should still be under your 1k budget. That board sells for 115, which is only 25 more than the asrock you selected. Which per your link is also out of stock.
