All are 240gb (Exept SSD#6) which brand would you recommend out of these 6 and why?

What is the installation environment and what are your requirements?

Manufacturer is important but "best" is often a matter of "model" and price.

Pretty much all of these are lower-end drives, which most if not all are dramless, which is bad for many reasons. I wouldn't recommend any of them

• WD Green is not very good. Slow, cheap quality, and Dramless. Can't find what type of nand used. Haven't had mine for long enough to tell reliability.
• Kingston A400 is not fast plus its DRAMless. My 240gb A400 died completely within a year of normal usage, and RMA made me pay return shipping.
• The Sandisk seems to be similar to the WD Green. Both dramless however they appear to use a slightly different controller. Seems like early drives used MLC but newer ones use TLC. Both use SanDisk nand.
• Don't know anything about the gigabyte or sp drive.
• I had a 120g HP S700 and sold it to a friend who still uses it. That drive has been pretty reliable, though Dramless and was slow.

A Crucial MX500 is only 7 euro more than some of those drives. This is a FAR better drive.

A bx500 would work as well or is the mx500 much better?

MX500 is a higher-end drive. Definitely worth the extra money for the MX500.
