Hi, I have the following:
CPU: intel i5 7500
GPU: Asus GTX 1050ti OC
Mobo: ASUS Prime Z270 A

my current temperatures are as follows in Celsius:
CPU
core #0 min: 36 max: 54
core #1 min: 34 max: 54
core #2 min: 37 max: 55
core #3 min: 38 max: 54

GPU
min: 41 max: 54

Fan Speeds:
rear exhaust fan: 860 rpm
cpu cooler ran: 1850 rpm
front intake fan: 1250 rpm
gpu dual fans: 1800 rpm

I would like to know are these temperatures safe to have? I was running a strenuous game, chrome with many tabs, spotify, discord, and vmware with a vm active. I am new to tech and i just built this pc and dont want to fry anything because its too hot

Those temps are perfectly fine. Max temps are around 100c though that's around the throttle temp and not what I'd consider 'safe' to be running at. Generally 65c to 70c or lower is fine for steady use, if temps are often reaching 80c+ under normal circumstance (ie, gaming or browsing - not a stress test like prime95 or intel burn test) then it would be worth looking into better cooling.

Here's some info regarding temps on intel cpu's.
