Are these temps and Setting ok in and Overclocked i5-4670k?

I just Overclocked my i5-4670k to 4.5ghz.

Im using AIDA64 for stress test and I'm getting 65-75c average temp and max temp is 80-85c all under full load. Is this level safe? also my core voltage is 1.328V and Ring bus voltage is 1.35v. Is it safe on those levels?

My current system specs are:

i5-4670k
Maximus Gene VII
Corsair Dominator CL9 2333ghz
GTX 970 SLI
H100i Closed-Loop WaterCooler
AX750 PSU

Ok so coming from intels product site (http://ark.intel.com/products/75048/Intel-Core-i5-4670K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz)

The temperatures that it reckons are max about 73 degrees (See the Tcase temp)
I would also pull down the volts aswell they seem a little high.

Overall I would suggest turning down you OC to not as extreme (Maybe 4 GHz?)

If you dont, I strongly recommend you download it, benchmark your system, and click on 'submit score' you will be taken to their website where you create a profile, and your OC specs are there, and the greatest feature is you can compare your OC to hundreds of other people's OC with a similar system to yours. Furthermore, you can (from the website) 'download' OC profiles from other users with similar systems to yours, and apply all the changes to your rig through the utility program, with 1 click.

EDIT 1: on the graph (points/marks based) you can hover your mouse over the other users' scores, and see their general OC specs, and can click on the one you like, to see the entire OC profile, all the changes applied to his system, etc...

EDIT 2: You can also filter user profiles on the graph by same cpu/mobo, same etc..etc.. its quite good

EDIT 3: I got my 4670k to a stable 4 GHz with a turbo boost to 4.6, works like a charm.

My i5 under full load doesnt pass 50 C with the H100i,.and when stress testing, doesnt pass 60.

Did you leave stock fans on? In a push or pull config? or push/pull?

I just brought down vcore to 1.29v as of now i'm running a stress test using AIDA64

4.5ghz @ 1.29v @ 100% load.

max voltage 71-74c

Starting to make more sense. But trust me, just download the utility, its quick, it will benchmar your system in 3-5 minutes, and you can see what others with same mobo/chip as you are getting in terms of ghz and temps.

I was able to achieve 4.5GHz @ 1.25v.

average is 55-60c and Max 70-75c at 100% Full load using AIDA 64

Average when gaming is around 50-55c.

Is this good enough or should I lower down my Ccore voltage some more?

Now that's more like it! Do you have turbo boost turned off? And keep the chip at a constant 4.5 GHz?

Why dont you just put it on 4GHz with a stable boost to 4.5-4.6 for when the chip needs it?

Turno boost is turned on and it's constant at 4.5GHz, I really don't know how to put it on 4GHz idle and have it boost to 4.5GHz on my BIOS. I'm using an ASUS Maximus Gene VII. any tips?

Turbo boost is used when your chip needs more 'power' and in short burst pushes your chip higher to help your system in general. Like mine, I got chip idling at 4GHz with Turbo Boost set to 4.6GHz (winter profile). And slightly lower both of them for summer profile.

I dont really know ASUS BIOS, since i've only ever used MSI (last 3 boards) and Gigabyte before that (which burned out on me hehe)

But stands to reason you should be able to change the multipliers on all 4 cores to 40 from within your BIOS, and in turbo boost, change those multipliers to 45-46, and voltages accordingly.

So there's a different menu to change the turbo boost and voltages multipliers?
