hello everyone. i have this cpu cooler that came with my pc
this is the FULL name: Extreme-Performance INTEL CPU Cooling Fan System Kit Silent & Overclocking Proof ( thats what it says in my pc order form)
these are my temps with this:
idle: 34C-36C i havent noticed if its gotten lower than 34
under load(100%): 42C+, usually goes to 44C. it has gotten up to 45C but not in awhile.
anyways my cpu isnt overclocked at all (q6600 at stock speeds)
i want to o/c my q6600 and i was wondering if this cooler is good enough or should i consider upgrading to a better cpu cooler?
any help would be great. thanks
ps. right now according to core temp 0.99.3 its reading 35 for all 4 cores and i have been on my pc for about an hour now and have played no games.
also when i play games (world in conflict, company of heroes, cs 1.6
, bioshock, some more games) for about an hour, the temps go above 40C
