Hi everyone, i've recently build my PC and im a bit worried about the temps i'm getting im not sure whether these temps are normal are not for my ryzen 5 2600,I average about 45-50 c idle and when gaming my temp tends to be around 64-66 c (tested in pubg, realm royale) i tested cinebench and my temp was 74 c this is on stock cpu speeds using the stock cooler. Also is fairly hot where I live with temperatures reaching 33 at daytime so that would make my ambient temperature a bit high i would think so would that taken into consideration are these temps normal or did i do something wrong while installing?

Solution

Those are normal temperatures with the AMD stock cooler.

I have 2 front fans (getting 1 more tomorrow) 1 rear fan all are 120mm with cfm of 49
Edit:they're 1200 rpm

My fans don't plug into the motherboard they are 6 pin fans they plug with the fan hub provided which plugs with the power supply

Really? So I have nothing to worry about?

Oh that's good to hear, I was worried that those temps weren't normal and I might've messed something up I'm the kind of person to get really paranoid about these kinda stuff

I use hwmonitor to monitor the temps should I switch to ryzen master? Or are they all accurate?

HWmonitor was not that accurate reading Ryzen temps, I don't know if it was updated to fix that issue.
If Ryzen Master matches the temp readings on HWmonitor then it has been fixed.

well I also use nzxt's cam and temps match up with the hwmonitor so I think there should be no issues with it I'll try ryzen master to double check

Yep I'm sure it's normal. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 too, along with 2 front 120MM fans, 2 top fans and 1 exhaust at the back all 120MM and my temps idle around 45-50c and under 76% load they're 64c w/ the Stock Cooler. But I'm gonna try to change the thermal paste to a better one to see if it does me any better, or just buy the Cooler Master 212 for it.

Get a Noctua and temps will drop so far. Those are normal temps for stock, I was getting roughly the same thing, my idle was high 30s to 40s and sometimes hitting 70+. I put a single fan Noctua, added 1 more fan on the other side and now I idle as low as 27, full load 6 min stress test only hit 53. highest temp I hit at all was 56.

Very nice,as long as my temps are normal I'm fine with it for a while, maybe later down the run I might consider swapping out my stock cooler for a better one but for now it's fine. Thank you for you answer

if you start getting closer to 70 when gaming i would go and at least buy a cheaper 20$ cooler, you can get some decent options under 30$
