Hello,
My processor was running at about 50-60 degrees Celsius before last year but about February time its started increasing in temperature so much that i had to reduce the clock speed from 3.8ghz to 2.8ghz max. Its currently running at 65-69 degrees with me just typing on this forum let alone when im playing World of Warcraft, then it gets up to about 75 or more which is worrying.
So my question is, how would i go about putting these temps down as id like to be running at 3.8ghz again without the worry of melting my cpu and my performance being slower than it should be.
I'm about to run a factory restore (ive backed up photos etc.) but thats only because i want to start my computer clean without half of the trash files that are on here.
Not sure its releveant but here's my specs:
AMD 760k 3.8ghz quad core (not overclocked)
AMD Radeon HD 7450
6GB RAM
MSI 2AEO
1TB Hitachi hard drive
Thanks in advance guys,
Rhys
