Recently installed a hyper 212 evo after using a stock intel heatsink for a while. Just wondering, are the difference in temps throughout cores normal? Thinking i may need to re-install it.

A pretty good and resistent procesor , have it running for a long time in a mini pc box for gaming in a highres tv, that temps for 25% load are perfect ( 60ºc in the mini box and max 80-90ºc for a long time) So it dont going to be problem...
What sort of temps are you seeing? What temp monitoring utility are you using? On that note, what are you full system's specs? Not all cores will all be running on the same temps but will have a range between a couple of degrees.

You seem to be okay but it'd help us to learn of your ambient air temps and the case you're working with.

I forgot to add specs also.

i5 4570 @ 3.2GHz
GTX 1070 G1
16gb ram ddr3 1600MHz
120g Samsug 750 evo
1tb HDD
Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Intel LGA1150 Z97 ATX Motherboard

I have 2 front intake fans which are fans 1 and 3 listed, one exhaust fan which is listed as fan2.

Also, my case is a BitFenix BFC-COM-100-KKXS1-RP. Although I take the front panel off the increase airflow, i do not have a way to record my ambient room temps at the moment, sorry.

Yes, i applied thermal paste. I was only really worried about the differences in temps between cores. Seems like it's not that much of a problem, though.
