So, the applications aren't reporting temperatures properly at least for the CPU. You can add the difference to the results you posted earlier and get a general idea of what the temperatures are.

So your max temp is around 78 C which shouldn't be causing issues... however, that is high for stock not overclocking.

Did you recently build the PC?

Are the fans installed and working properly? Are the blocked? Facing the wrong way?
No i haven't tried any other programs do you know any good ones. I have just ran a benchmark for my GPU called valley benchmark. (My GPU was the only thing i didnt upgrade when building my PC as im waiting for pascal) and the temps are running at around 98c and that sounds bad...
Heres an image of my benchmark

Also My PSU is brand new and its an evga supernova 850 gold+ PSU so couldnt see that being the issue. And how would i go about checking temps as it shuts down?

Sure, Specs are -
AMD R9 270 GPU
Intel I7 6700K CPU
Noctua ND15 Cooler
Evga supernova 850w gold+ modular PSU
G.Sport 16gb 3200mhz RAM
And an ASROCK z170 Extreme7+ ATX MOBO
Case is a NZXT Phantom 530

Also heres the pictures from bios

Wait, so is it overclocked? The voltage looks a little high but I haven't overclocked Skylake yet. If you're overclocking, I would restore defaults for now and possibly re-seat the heat sink/verify that is is installed properly (brackets behind motherboard, fan direction, etc).

not as far as i know how can i tell if its OverClocked? I haven't messed around with anything to overclock it

Also when i got the mobo i accidentally touched the CPU socket only very lightly could that be the cause of my problem?

Having your fans facing the wrong way can definitely cause issues. Did you apply the thermal paste or was it pre-installed? If this is your first time building a PC, you may want to read a few guides to applying thermal paste while you're opening the case and verify the bracket is installed properly on the back as well as other fan direction.

i did read a few quides and put a pea size amount of thermal paste on my cpu and watched a youtube video of how to install the cooler. think im going to have to unmount the cooler and check the cpu ill post on here once ive done it. thanks for your help
