Hello, I'm quite inexperienced in the hardware department and have had a PC for about 4 and a half years. I'm currently in the process of upgrading so I can play newer games smoothly at reasonably high details (getting 50-60 FPS on full HD AC: Odyssey on high settings would be pretty neat). Would you agree that getting a new graphics card (GTX 1060 6GB? or is that too much considering the other components?), another 8 GB of RAM and also probably a new power supply of 500 W would be the correct course of action or am I completely out of it? Thank you a lot in advance. :)

my current specifications:
Motherboard: MSI H81M-E34
Processor: Intel i5 4460 3.20 GHz
Graphics card: MSI Nvidia GTX 960 2GB
Power supply: Fortron 350 W
8 GB RAM
120 GB SSD, 2 TB HDD

Solution
You're on the right track. New GPU and a better quality 500W PSU. The RAM is OK if all you run is the game, but 16GB is the preferred minimum today for gaming. In fact, many games will require more than 8GB sys RAM to run smoothly.
