This is my first time building a pc. I have a budget of around 350-420 dollars
I need some help picking parts because every time I find a gpu i like I find another one. This is what I have so far
AMD FX-4350 Vishera Quad-Core 4.2GHz
SAPPHIRE 100366-2L Radeon R7 260X 2GB
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P AM3+ Socket ATX Motherboard
Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB
Thermaltake TR2 430W ATX Power Supply
Deepcool TESSERACT WH ATX Mid Tower Case
In all it cost $421.93. I want to know if I have the right parts. Thanks.

It's not bad, but i wouldn't recommend something like this

GPU's are about the same but Nvidia always updates their drivers unlike AMD.

How many frames with i be getting on say fallout 3? cs:go? Can it run NBA 2k15? I know many people say this but that core throws me off. Im also looking for a amd cpu since directx12 is going to improve performance (correct me if im wrong).

Fallout 3 is a fairly old game and you should get good fps. Also CSGO is a low requirements game so you will be ok (see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH3ynoIY5Ak)
Yes you can run NBA2K15
That cpu is also known to be good overclock performer even with stock cooler.

Ok but how about in the long run for future games? Will it still able to perform decent with only two cores?

Not really. Games in the future would need 4 cores, some games now do (FC4 wasn't going to work on dual core until fix was released) though nobody can know how good optimization and games will be. That's why I put this build up with upgrading options, you can add i5 4460 in the future when you see you need it.

if i dont want the G3258 could i get the athlon x4 860K?
