[SOLVED] are they compatible?

A Board for the i5-3570? I assume you already have the CPU and GPU and want to get the rest of the parts to build a computer around it?
For that CPU it would be any of the 60 and 70 series chipsets from Intel. So things like H61, B65, Z68, B75, H77, Z77, etc. which will all come in DDR3.
The platform is 9 years old by now, so you most likely have to look at used motherboards. Same for RAM. DDR3 hasn't really dropped in price on the new market, but used parts from people moving off their old systems might be worth a look.

Depending on the cost for a compatible motherboard and RAM it might be worth looking at a new platform at the same price. A smaller APU or i3 from a current series (including it's motherboard and DDR4 RAM) might be at a similar price but faster and draw less power.
