Hello everyone. I bought a ryzen 2600 and while I'm waiting for the am4 bracket kit to arrive, I was thinking about replacing my stock fans from my h100i v2 because they are really loud. I need two fans that are quiet and they perform well(in my case, able to keep an overclocked 2600 to 4ghz at a nice temperature). I don't want to spend that much money on two fans, so budget is a problem. I found a nice twin pack with two sp120's from corsair, that have green led and cost only 21 euros. I also care about lighting, so I want to know is it worth it going for two rgb pro's or not? Thanks in advance.

if its a temporary solution, Id say just go ahead with the green led fans until the bracket arrives for whatever you will primarily use unless youc an find some non RGB fans. (DO they even make non-rgb fans that arent noctua anymore?" lol)

It's not temporary, if I buy them I'll keep them for a long time. Will two sp120's be enough to cool a 2600 clocked at 4ghz?

Sp120L are the stock fans. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/PC-Components/Cooling/Hydro-Series™-H80i-H100i-SP120L-2700-RPM-Replacement-PWM-Fan/p/CO-8950002

The non L will be slightly louder, but actually have better specs. The non L will still perform just fine though!
I'm talking about these sp120's fans:

Will these be fine?

Solution
Thos will be fine. Those (And the WHITE LED) ones are the ones I actually used on my H100i and had ZERO issues with cooling. it was a champ

(RIP my H100i, it died last weekend after a long 6 years 🙁)
Thanks man, I'll go buy them then. Sorry to hear that though. I hope nothing got damaged in your pc. I hope you find a good replacement. Thanks for the help again and have a nice day/night!(wherever you live 😅).

I was glad my CPU (i7-860) didnt fry itself, it luckily shut itself off. I ended up buying the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Black Edition with RGB fan, so far, its working as good as the H100i.
