Graphic card needs one 8pin power but my psu only has a one 6pin pci cable.so should i buy a 2 molex to 8pin adapter? And is it safe?

Solution

It's the exact same as when you plug the PCI-E cable into the GPU.
Just do it the exact same way with the adapter and plug the adapter end into the GPU and you're good to go.

Also, the adapter has to be for the PCI-E cables, it has to have the exact same amount of pins and either be male or female.

Also, as long as your PSU is fine and the adapters work with it, continue using it.
But, try and upgrade it in the future as well to a Corsair or something.

It all depends on the PSU quality

Based on your PSU I'd say don't even try try 700w PSU should have a least 2. 8pin pcie connecters

And 35a on a 700w PSU is pretty poor it should be capeable of over 50a on the 12v if it was of any quality

My opinion is that PSU deserves to be in the trash

Not exactly all about the PSU not giving enough power. It's more about that it's extremely hard to find a 6+2/8 pin PSU to 6+2/8 pin to PCIE cable so we have to settle for molex.
