I installed the drivers from Gigabyte which are from 2010.
I don't have the latest Catalyst but one from 2010 that installed with the driver.
Windows update shows me i have an update for ATI Display Driver for 6800 series that is dated 2011. So is it good to install this windows update or no?
If i go to the windows update details site it doesn't load so i don't know what it contains.
Moreover is installing the latest Catalyst directly from ATI for 6000 series a good idea?
Sure i can try them out see how it fares in games or stress tests but if someone encountered this it will be easier and save some time, for which i am in your debt.
