[SOLVED] Are x570 motherboards ryzen 3000 ready

Im uploading my pc and i was wondering if I'll need to update the bios im getting a gigabyte aorus elite x570 and ryzen 3600x will that motherboard work out of the box with a 3600x

What that means is it should POST and go into the BIOS setup straight out of the box. But the BIOS and AGESA are continuing to evolve, so you'll want to update the BIOS to the newest version and periodically check for updates.

Should i update the bios even if im not very comfortable with doing that yet?

Yes, when newer BIOS versions get released that improve performance and/or stability you should update your BIOS.
If you are not confident that you can do that, then you should ask someone you trust to do it correctly to do it for you.

I dont know anyone else who knows computers is it 100% necessary to update?

Updating should be as simple as doing it from within the BIOS itself while connected to internet with Ethernet.

Otherwise it's as simple as downloading the updater from the motherboard support page online and running it.
