So, the thing is. I am still building a rig one bit a time and luckily i'm near the finish line.
I bought the 6600k a couple of months ago (before kaby lake) and now i'm about to get the MB.
The thing is, I know that, in theory, a 6600k should work fine with a z270, despite not being able to use its features. But, my question is ¿Is it worth getting a z270 instead of a z170 (considering the price difference is almost non existant)?
I was aiming for a MSI M5 z170, but when I saw the M5 z270, this one looked more solid, with reinforced PCI lanes and such.
What I mean is that I care a bit about reliability and durability of materials and features (since I will keep this for a while).
Is it worth it? Won't it have compatibility issues?
Any thoughts about it?
