Ares these two rams compatible?

Hi i am getting a new system and the ram in that system is 2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x1024] Memory. I have spare ram from another computer which is 2x 1024 MB ddr2-533 ddr2 sdram which i bought from crucial. The ram with the system is from dell. How would i know if i can put all 4 sticks together and make 4 gb ram?

It shouldn't be a problem -- just try it. Remember that under Windows XP only about 3GB plus/minus will be visible/usable by the system.
