Argh, think it's dead

Hi guys, changed some settings in the bios, saved exited, pc restarted, and pulled the power plug out as 'DO NOT TURN COMPUTER OFF, BIOS UPDATING' flashed on screen, stupid, i know.

When i turn it back on again it powers on but i get no beep, not post, no display, nothing.

Its an old ABIT NF7 v2, anyone know if there is anything i can do (short of ordering a new bios chip which i doubt will be available anymore) or is it well and truely deaded?

I found biostar nforce2 boards for around $20 shipped recently at newegg's open box section. Or you can check your local pc stores and see if they will flash your chip for a nominal fee.

If you have done so, clear the CMOS. I'd also check the Abit website and see if they have any BIOS recovery software.
