I have a few quick reactions, but since they do talk specifically
about the game I'll leave in spoiler space just in case:

There are a few errors in the text: you might want to try a
spell-checker, a proof-reader, or both. The prologue text, for
instance, contains "dillusions", when what you want is "delusions"; a
little later, "mearly" for "merely"; "squeeky" for "squeaky"; "metel"
for "metal"; "oposite" for "opposite".

Some odd responses from the actions, as well. (Note: I was looking at
the game with MacScare, if that makes a difference.) Still, I got,
for instance:

>x toilet
[x -> examine]
The toilet is open.

>look in toilet
You feel better.

>search toilet
You don't see the toilet.

Which seems like a somewhat odd sequence.

It also appears to be possible to *take* the drawer of the desk
without ever actually opening it (since afterwards it continues to
describe itself as closed, even though it's in your inventory -- and
no, I didn't do this deliberately, but it happened when I tried to
TAKE ALL).

As for the premise, it's hard to say much about that without seeing
more of the game. I think I'd add a little more specificity to the
journal -- the dates with "yadda yadda" in front of them don't inspire
as much interest as actual names. (Maybe that just means you're going
to fill this in later.) I did like what little I saw of the character
of Dr. Gildon and thought it was interesting that she was willing to
go along with the protagonist's craziness, at least to the point of
providing supplies.

Anyway, I played until I got to a point where the room descriptions
petered out and there didn't seem to be much left to do. It needs
more testing before it'll be solid, I think. My guess is that at this
stage you may be best off asking for beta-testers rather than offering
a demo to the public. (Your choice, of course, but most people who
check out a demo are probably more looking to see whether they're
going to want to play the full version.)

Thanks for the comments. The ADRIFT spellchecker keeps crashing the
generator so I stopped using it. I would run the actual game through another
spellchecker program before full release.
Question: did you get into the STARDA and get it to work?

If you export the game as a module, you can open the module in a Word
document and spellcheck it. Then import it back into a new game file with
all the spelling errors fixed.

Get into, yes. Get to work, no. (More spoilers below:)

Maybe I didn't explore enough the first time I played, because I quit
when I saw I'd reached an area where there were a lot of rooms without
content or room descriptions. So then I went back to replay and see
whether I could do more with the STARDA -- but this time I couldn't
get there.

I don't know what I did last time that worked, but now every attempt I
make to open the drawer and get the journal leads to disaster.
Opening it tells me it's already open; closing it tells me it's
closed; examining it won't show me the journal; and it doesn't matter
whether I leave it in the desk or take it out. Unfortunately I wasn't
able to get a transcript out of MacScare, but you should (I think) be
able to reproduce this effect.
