Ark: Survival HELP. My Specs:

I do not know much about computer specs and I have two questions. Help would be appreciated!
(I know I know... Everyone hates Macs for gaming. Please answer unbiased haha)

1) My Computer Specs include a brand new iMAC 27 inch Retina.

  4.0GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz
  32GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM
  1 TB Flash Storage
  AMD R9 M295X 4GB

2) I have a bootcamp partition of Windows 8.1 as well. If my specs above CAN run ARK Survival, which OS should I buy the game for? (Mac now has an Ark version).

Any alterations of settings needed?

Well I would probably think the PC version is more refined since it's been on PC since the start and only now on Mac. I play on PC and it's a fun game. I would also look at in the future. Unless the game is cross compatible, then mac users can only play on mac servers, or pc vs pc, or xbox vs xbox, etc. Not sure how the game will work with mac people. Maybe something to ask in the forums.
