Arma 2 Dayz - Overpoch

So my pc specs are.

4790k
gtx 970FTW+
16gbs ram
750W PSU
1TB WB Green (arma 2 is installed there)
120gb kingston SSD (might install it here)


So basically I think i Should get WAAY more fps.

I have my resolution and 3d resolution both at 1080p (native)
and settings on very high/some settings high and normal.

My fps in the city Cherno is like 40-55

and my fps everywhere else like the trees and fields is anywhere between 60-95

I feel like i got similar FPS before i upgraded from a gtx 660.

So can anybody tell me if they have a similar system and what FPS they get?

These are good fps for cherno, cherno and elektro are known to cause insane framedrops, i used to play at 10-20 fps in cherno
