Arma 2 OA Lagging.

I've been lagging on Arma 2 OA with my 6870 crossfire setup, i run most games maxed out on a 1080p resolution. But when i play Arma 2 OA it lags really bad i get about 25FPS and dip to like 19 FPS. When I play the Day-Z mod it runs smooth. I was thinking it might just be how poorly optimized the game might be.

Yes and same results, i played Arma 3 earlier today and got about 30FPS in multi but then later it dropped back down to 11fps, now in Arma 2 OA same results as before, i run any other game on max settings smooth, its only on the Arma series i run poorly. Now my cousin has the same setup as me and gets about 45fps in Arma 2 OA, and 30fps + on Arma 3 on one 6870.

I am not overclocked, my temps on my CPU are usually 65 C, but today i maxed out at 50 C. my gpu temps max 65 C. I have a Cooler master hyper 212+

usually performance drop in game are either because you are overclock or overheating.u have the latest driver and caps from amd?(13.10 beta and 13.5 for caps)

Yea, and i am up to date with all drivers. I might re-install windows 7 and see if anything happens.

Yea, and i am up to date with all drivers. I might re-install windows 7 and see if anything happens.

Before you do that it might be good to see if there any patch available for the game.also you could try to get the version of the.game that your cousin are playing.
