That's not much detail... I run it on a 650 ti BOOST, but if you are having issues then perhaps you either have the specs too high (ultra preset would be too much) or need to verify the integrity of the game cache. Failing that, if all games run worse than expected you may need to defrag/ccleaner/antimalware or something to help it run more smoothly.

Also, in Arma 3 launcher: make sure it is utilizing all 4GB of your VRAM, particularly if texture loading is an issue.

well like if there is a lot of combat going on it lags if there are explosions sometimes instead of fire its black squares. vehicles and buildings trees exc.... wont load textures till iam right on top of them. I run the game on very high tried backing down to high no change went to ultra and no change either, the games files are updated and other games run awesome! when you say utilizing all 4gb of vram do you mean the gpu ram because if you are i think i only have 2gb.

Sorry, yes just 2GB (was talking to someone with a similar issue on a 970 earlier) but in the launcher you should be able to manually tell it to use 2048MB of Vram (Graphics card RAM). Also, how do your processor and Graphics card run while playing? (use MSI afterburner or something to track their use while playing and while not)

Well I have a pretty powerful Rig, my ate has an even more powerful one and we both get drops down to about 30fps in multiplayer. King of the Hill mod is one of the worst due to the number of players. It beats me why there are so many 80+ man servers out there when not one is powerful enough to allow the game to play smoothly. I would suggest 50 slot servers max for smoother game play. In single player I get 75+ fps. But multiplayer always slows down.

Also if you are getting blurry textures on things like houses that then suddenly go to the normal texture it could be that the game is sruggling to get the texture from your HDD. I switched to an SSD just for that issue on ARMA 2. If you have an HDD consider defragging it.

For multiplayer also consider dropping your view distance to about 1000m or 1500m max. Switch off PiP (I think it's called that, its the reflections in wing mirrors etc). On many servers the server settings override your client settings. Press the 'tiled' key (left of '1'), that should bring up a menu, then choose setting and switch distance down and switch grass down (or off). This could massively help.

I dont normally play on high servers maybe 25-35 players max and i did switch to an ssd so dont have to worry about defraging a couple months ago, but i didnt know that server override client settings and my view distance is maxed out due to flying wipeout a lot so i will try and lower it and see what happens. just wasnt sure if i was bottle necking or needed to upgrade cpu and or gpu

Oh, one other thing, I play a lot of ARMA 3 King of the Hill, and whenever there are 2+ jets up it really slows down the FPS. I'm not sure why but I think it's a mix of flight physics and bullet calculations, just one of those Wipeouts fires thousands of rounds, and each single round has it's own individual physics/ballistics calculation, often 3-4 separate calculations as it hits a surface and needs to recalculate the ricochet.
