Hey, i would like to move my Arma 3 from my HDD to my SSD but when i moved it simply (using the no redownload trick) all my configs were gone and i dont have the patience to setup my controls/graphics settings all over again.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Steam can have multiple libraries on multiple drives, but alas in the end i found a fix, Windows 10 and it's magical quirks... One word: OneDrive...
Long story short, the new arma created configs in my OneDrive "Documents" folder instead of my user's despite me disabling the living crap out of it ever doing that... (replacing the configs there fixed it)

Is this within the Steam platform?

Yes

I'm not sure what you read, but this is how to do it:
To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder

Been there, done that, rip configs...

Just Arma 3, the other games luckily don't have such a terrible config system, as for some reason the configs aren't tied to the game itself (the game isn't the one calling the configs forward) but the other way around, the configs are tied to the game's location, so when i move the game, (with or without steam move) and i start arma up, despite copying the old configs to any place where it might look for them, it doesn't call them, somehow it remembers my profile though, since a fresh arma always takes your PC's name to make a profile and mine has both my PC's name and another one with my old character, but it doesn't have any of the other profiles I had apart from my main and PC name one. Inside the config files i haven't seen anything referring to a location on the PC so i'm completely bummed as to why it doesn't load them...

I am going to have to bow out now. I know how to transfer my entire steam library to a new drive but I have never attempted just one game only. Check out You Tube for the steam library reinstall. They might have one which helps in single game transfer only from your library. Sorry I could not help more.
