Arma 3 only using a single thread, Terrible FPS

So when i play arma 3 i get terrible fps, using RivaTuner i can see that the game is only using a single thread at 70-80% and the others at 20-25%. My cpu is a ryzen 5 1600 OC to 4 Ghz (didnt see a difference in perfomance beetween 3.4Ghz to 4 Ghz). SO you would think its a graphics card bottleneck but no, i have a 1070 and its only being used to around 20-40% at ultra settings, and 10-15% at lowest settings with no difference in framerate. This pretty much only happens is Arma 3 btw. If there is any fix, pls do let me know!

After a bit of googling it appears that Arma 3 has very bad multicore support, I hope you figure it out!

Arma 3 is an old game. It's a great game, but an old one. The best thing you could do, is just sacrifice graphics quality for fps. I use an i7-3770K paired with a 1080 ti and get about 30FPS on ultra. Just dial down the draw distance a bit and you should be good.
