Good day,
Introductions first:
My name is Jarus and I work as a Software Developer for a South African IT company. My hobbies include home studio recording, home automation (newbie to this!), and loving dogs.
My question:
I recently built (with the help of a friend/colleague) a new PC for my home studio.
I have the following components (running Windows 11 Home):
My first problem is this: It seems every time I shutdown my PC, it has problems starting up again. And I mean it does NOTHING, even when switching the PSU power off and on, and pressing the power button on the case. This is until I "fiddle" with the Armaggeddon's power button connector (inside the case). Initially, I thought the connector was bad, but lately I am led to believe that I just need to "earth" the screw on the power button, and then everything starts up.
My second problem (although this is less concerning) is that the case's built-in RGB (i.e. the hologram on the front) does not come on at all, even after successfully starting the PC.

- Armaggeddon Tron Holo-5 ATX case
- Cooler Master V650 SFX Gold PSU
- Gigabyte A520M DS3H Motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 3.9 GHz AM4 CPU
- Samsung 990 PRO with Heatsink NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB
- Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB PRO SL 2x8GB
- DeepCool FK120 120mm FDB PWM Silent Fan x 2

- Has anybody else experienced this?
- Can anybody advise on the correct way to wire the case to the motherboard and power supply?
