ARMOR 1080 vs 1070 FTW which card is better for gaming?

Hi guys. Im gonna replace my old 7950 with a new nvidia card. My question is which card will be ideal for gaming with all aspects? Msi's armor model is 479 € on amazon italy its a pretty advantageous discount tbh so im seriously looking to buy it. As far as i know evga ftw's cooling is better than armor's. What do you think guys? Thanks for reading

Obviously the GTX 1080 is a faster card and as it is for the moment with prices on GTX 1070 being high because of all the mining craziness, you might just get a better deal with a GTX 1080. Don't get this wrong, the GTX 1070 is still a very fast and capable card. It is just the high prices right now that makes it less bang for the bucks.

1080 is a 1080. Period.

If u play at 1080p for a while ,then gtx 1070 is enough ,but if u plan for 1440p ,then gtx 1080 is a good option .if the price diff is not much then gtx 1080 is ok (only u plan to upgrade ur monitor)

Yeah man that's what i though at first glance. For sure 1080 is better choice than a 1070 but im a bit worried about tempatures of msi armor 1080.

I recently bought a viewsonic vx2257(1080p75hz) .I'll stick with that monitor for couple of years i think.

And the other problem is warranty. Im from Turkey and if i buy the 1080 from amazon.it without the amazon's 2 years warranty , what would i do if any problem occurs with the card. Really hard to decide 😀

Dont buy the card without warrenty .Gtx 1070 will run every games that comes outs atleast 2yrs from now above 60fps @1080p .No need to buy the gtx 1080 (without warrenty) .Most ppl use the gtx 1070 @1440p ,so you are completly fine with the gtx 1070

I'm one of those who run a GTX 1070 in 1440p. and can run every game at max settings for now. So for 1080p gaming with max setting s the GTX 1070 should be fine for the next 2-3 years at least.
