I am going to build a gaming PC on black friday this november. I have a budget of around $700(But with black friday deals I expect at least $100 off).

There are some parts i really would like and some theme colors as well.

I would like the NZXT H440 Red case for a red and black build

OR

An NZXT s340 for a blue and black build

I also require a GTX 970 or a R9 290x. I don't care if you choose AMD or Intel for the processor.

No OS or peripherals are needed

Thank you guys for your help!!!!!!!!

the 390x is out of your budget. the comprable card to a gtx 970 is the r9 390 (non-x) anyway. in most cases the 390 beats the 970 anyway. the 390 has no vram issues like the 970 does and you are getting 8gb of vram vs 4gb.

here is the best you are going to get with that budget:

I said 290x :)

-you recommended a very low quality psu. please do not recommend corsair cx power supplies for gaming systems. they are meant for home/office machines. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/power-supply-units/cx-series
the gaming series corsair power supplies are rm, hx, ax.
-you picked a hot, overclocking cpu with a insufficient stock cooler. you need to choose an aftermarket cooler. that is a problem.
-with a cooler added you are $100 over his budget.
