My MSI GS75 Stealth 9SF cooler fan died. I opened up the machine to replace it. While doing so I missed disconnecting the camera ribbon cable and I broke it near the hinge. I've purchased a replacement cable, but replacing it means disassembly of the glued together screen - a lot more work. I never use the camera anyway. If I reassemble without the camera cable, will it affect the machine being able to work properly?

If you don't use the camera at all, you can leave it as is but I think the mic array would be on that same ribbon. You could use a heat gun to weaken the adhesive around the bezel to pry it apart.
Thanks. I did not think about the Mic being part of it. I've watched a couple videos of removing the screen which gives access to the area. It's a lot of work. Different models but I assume the method is the same?
