My ISP changed my modem to the Arris TG1672G. I believe that it's not properly going into bridge mode.

I disabled wifi, DHCP and changed NAT mode to Bridge, but for some reason my TP-Link router won't detect the Dynamic IP to setup when I connect it to the arris modem. It detects the setup as static IP instead, with all fields filled with zeros.

I know nothing is wrong with my router, because it worked perfectly when I connected it to my previously bridged Arris TG862G modem.

If anyone is familiar with the Arris TG1672G, please help me out. Thanks!

How did you run your ethernet cable? Should be from from the Arris Port 1 to the WAN port on the router as I understand it.

Check your connection.

Failing that, probably best to reset modem and router to factory settings and start over. Be patient and wait until you are sure each step is completed and the desired connectivity has been established.

I connected it from port 1 to the WAN port. I even tried the other 3 ports but, the result is the same. I reset both modem and router at least 2 times and re-run the entire procedure but the outcome is the same.

Okay.

Do you have to and did you activate the new Arris via your ISP? Have you called them to check for any problems from their end?

Afterward try using another known working ethernet cable between the modem and router. Could be a faulty/failing cable.

Then go back to using just the modem as the connection to your ISP. I.e., your ISP connection in and only one PC connected to the modem.

When that connection is up and running, (i.e., you have internet connectivity without any problems) go to the command prompt and run "ipconfig /all".

Reinstate the router again and once your computer is back on your network run "ipconfig /all" again.

The objective is to determine what the network configuration appears to be via the PC.
