Question Artifacting r9 290x

Last year I bought an r9 290x to start upgrading my system, it worked fine for 3 days, then started artifacting. I tried reinstalling drivers, new cables, but nothing seems to work. Since then I've given up trying to fix the card and I've just been using my old firepro v5900. It's absolutely horrible to play anything on and I just want to fix my 290x. Does anyone have any advice or anything I can try with the card?

You bought it used? Otherwise you should RMA.

It's probably the card's memory issue. Go to a PC repair shop which does GPU repairs.

Artifacting can be a memory issue, or simply the clock speed being too high for the GPU. I would suggest underclocking it by 100 MHz and seeing if that helps.

Kindly list the make and Model number of your PSU, as well as other PC specs. That could be a sign of VRAM corruption issue, though I don't want to jump on any conclusion, as of now.
