Since the last week I've been getting artifacts when playing some games (specifically Battlerite, WoW, Battlefield 1 and Titan Quest but I think any 3D game would be the case) that vary a lot in shape and form; some are random flashes of different colors on the whole screen, others are small circles also of different colors, other times its some texture that wont load, or loads but stays plain black or white, but most of the time its the classic giant lines and triangles across the screen, and always ends with the game crashing at some point (showing a spike on GPU usage that lasts like a second)
My specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
GPU: MSI Gaming X GTX 1080 TI
RAM: 16GB (8x2) Ballistix Sport 2400mhz
MB: ASUS Crosshair VI Hero WI-FI
PSU: XFX XTR750 80+ GOLD
The only one of those components that I had OC'd was the CPU to 3.8GHz from the base 3.0GHz, and has been that way since day one of building this computer (early January 2018)
Even though it appears to be a GPU issue this only happens on games, running stress tests and benchmarks (FurMark, EVGA OC Scanner X) show the GPU going over 98% a lot of the time without any overheating or the voltage being a problem
So I tried installing different versions of the GPU drivers (using DDU and all that), Formatting the hard drive and installing Windows from scratch, changing the PSU cables, underclocking the card and raising the voltage. None of these seem to work.
What can I do at this point? Which part is failing? Is there a fix or should I RMA it?
