As rock AB350M-HDV Ram Compatibility

Would ASRock AB350M-HDV work with 1 stick of DDR4 8 GB CT8G4DFS824A cheapest from Amazon for Ryzen 5 2400G. Because it does not say on the website that it supports the exact same Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 UDIMM?
Do I really need to follow the exact ASRock QVL list for ram? Because on the Crucial website it says that the ram would be comparable.

If you are going to use the built-in graphics, dual channel RAM (two matched DIMMs) will improve performance significantly. I would recommend following the QVL. You have some guarantee that the RAM works in the exact configuration you are using.
