AS5 on Northbridge

I got the DS3 mobo and im wondering if i can take the heatsink off the northbridge and put some AS5 on there? Is it ok to clean the northbridge/heatsink with 91% isopropyl alcohol?

He uses the 91% isopropyl alcohol and arctic silver 5. I believe doing anything like that may void your warrenty so you might want to check up on that. I used the same stuff for my video card heatsink w/o problems.
