Ok I know many people have asked this same question, but, I would like to ask anyway.
I have read that a P4 3.2c is not good to overclock. How will the 3.0c work?
Here is my spec to date:
P4C800 DELUXE mobo
1GB HyperX PC3500 (Kingston)
ATI 9800 Pro
1-Serial ATA WD Raptor 36.7GB 10000 RPM 8MB
1-Caviar 80GB EIDE, Ultra ATA/100, 7200 RPM
SB Audigy 2
The question I have is which of the P4 chips will do the job to overclock but not put a strain on the system and not force to get more fans put in the case. I have 2 main fans in the case right now. They are stock fans and I can't remember the case manufacture.
I play games, surf the net and use it from time to time to do recordings.
If you have any advice or anything I could change please let me know.
Being this is my first build and first real OC I just would like help picking the best chip.
Thanks in advance.
