Asking for opinions

I got tired of my old dual core processor, so I've decided to build a new rig from scratch. Anyhow, this is what I was thinking to include:

I haven't decided about the monitor yet, but I'll probably go with Dell U2414H IPS
(Couln't find the link, it seems that their site is off)
Now, I need opinions, thoughts and advice on this config, so any kind of assistance would be much appreciated. I want to avoid any conflicts or complications later.

Why not Ryzen 2600?

2 things come to mind when reading that list. Ryzen benefits from faster RAM, I would go for a 3000mhz RAM kit. I also don’t know that PSU, I would want to check reviews to ensure it is good quality, PSU quality is important. Maybe someone else has better knowledge of that PSU.

I went to pick up the processor today, and the guy at the store told me the same, that I should go with faster RAM.
Now, should i go with 1x8 GB, or 2x4?

2x4gb It can then run in dual channel mode, a single stick can only run in single channel mode which has reduced performance/bandwidth.

I've assembled the PC, and I am freakin' DELIGHTED! I went with 4x4 GB RAM, and the power was slightly different.
