Asmedia 106x SATA Controller preventing boot
S.M.A.R.T. supported
Using PCIe Gen 2 x2
Can't find any device
It seems a lot of people are having this problem
SCSI and Raid controllers ?
Asmedia 106 x Sata controllers. AHCI Mode
This is what i have put in my PC.
pci-e to SATA 3.0 Internal 6Gbps Ports Disk Expansion Card Dell 3020 mt.

It may just be that this is a crappy controller that does not work.
Ii is working i am running a SSD with Windows on it.You could be right there ,It was very cheap from China.
I would like that message to go though.Someone on another forum said
.solved the problem by disabling the CMSs (Compatibility Support Module) in the UEFI options of my MoBo:But i have no idea how to do it. :(

This is an old question I only now see.
I have a CSL card and had a similiar problem. It worked fine for years, but suddenly I went through a nightmare after I had tried to update the driver. None of them drivers worked and severe problems persisted, like boot loop and the like. Eventually, I've found a driver version that worked with my system, it's the version 3.3.3.0. Not sure but I think I've downloaded it from station-drivers.
